Since 1985, Catering by Nick (CBN) has been serving up imaginative cuisine, exceptional event planning, and quality products for celebrations throughout San Antonio. Catering by Nicks passion for food and excellence in service delivery have built its distinguished reputation in the industry.
Owner, founder, and San Antonio native, Manuel H. Garza (Nick) is the key behind CBNs success. Garza emerged in the food industry in 1969 with the opening of La Casita Restaurant in San Antonio, Texas. The restaurant gained popularity for its unique Deep Mexico cuisine, and soon had local corporations urging Garza to cater their events. It was out of these requests that Catering by Nick emerged.
Since its opening, Catering by Nick has received numerous honors. CBN was named Minority Retail Firm of the Yearin 1993. They were also selected as one of only four firms approved to cater within the San Antonio Alamodome. With a growing reputation for quality, Catering by Nick was introduced as minority partner with The RK Group for the Henry B. Gonzlez Convention Center in 1997 and was later honored to become the sole caterer with two minority partners at the Alamodome in 2004.
Today, Catering by Nick holds exclusive catering contracts at several of San Antonios finest institutions and employs a professional staff of chefs, bartenders, wait staff and event planners that ensure that every detail is considered, making your event truly special.
